I use a 40 watt pencil style iron. Never needed more than that to solder any type of connector. And my solder joints are solid when done. If you need to heat the bejesus out of it with a big soldering gun to get it to work, you're doing something incorrectly.

Value Hobby has some nice Lipos with Deans, great prices. $3.99 shipping is awesome as well. HobbyKing also carries Lipos of course, and you can buy an adapter from them for about 2 bucks that converts their connector to a Deans connector.

Been running Coleman fuel in my two FGs with Zenoahs, my Aquacraft V24 with a Fuji and my old ice auger (like 25 years old now) with a 33cc Tecumseh for over 6 years now, no issues. I mix it with Klotz at 40:1 for all of them. Same gas jug for all of them. Makes it nice to work on them...

I've been running Camp Fuel mixed 40:1 with Klotz for a long time now.

I have a set of his bearings. They are of very high quality. I have noticed no grinding or binding or drag and since they have the rubber seals, maintenance is as easy as cleaning off the car. I'd recommend a set to anyone looking to replace their stock bearings.

In WI you can't find anything but 10% ethanol mix. It's all they sell. I have been safely running 87 octane regular gas with 10% ethanol for over a year in these trucks and have had ZERO issues. BTW the higher octane does nothing for these low compression two strokes. Lower octane burns...

To wear ut an engine that fast, you would have had to gotten a bad one initially or your doing something wrong. For bashing, these engines should outlive the truck.
