17t motor insert- do they make one??

Hey I’m using the TLR brushless kit to convert my 5ive b. After the first drive this weekend the 15t pinion isn’t the correct gearing for me. I want to run a 17 and I’ll already purchased it but now I can’t find a 17t motor insert. Thanks

i know if flip sum of the inserts around u get a different value/spacing distance ?...not sure which would b 17 though ?

That’s what I was wondering and I found a thread on here that talked about that but it only showed 18-22 I think. I have no experience with the 5ive model so hopefully someone will know.

Throw those inserts in the trash and use washer, set your mesh the normal way.

Yeah I think your right. Save a couple bucks too.

try rotating your inserts and see what the mesh is like. failing that as above, grind some washers down and use them with some thread lock and you should be good

Thanks guys that’s what I’m gonna do. I prefer to set my own mesh anyways.
