Welcome to LSF.
Question: Why limit your choice to KM models?
I can accept you might have a limited budget, but if this is your first, PLEASE read some of the threads and get a feel for the different models that are available.
ALSO, look at, but DON'T be too influenced by USED items on Ebay.
Perhaps also put a post in WTB - Wanted To Buy - of what you're after, and state your budget limitations.
Just a few ideas for you.
Al.

ok thanks.i don't want to buy anything used especially from ebay.king motors seems the way 2 go for my budget from what ive seen so far they seem quite cheap.

They are cheap for a reason.
Atom posted a great suggestion.
I would prefer to do my research now rather than later.

i understand there cheap for a reason but i have my hart set on it now.i would still like 2 know which 1 u guys would pick tho thnks.

If you want to go cheap go on ebay you can find a really
good deal! The alloy in the KM baja's are shocking :S

But your best bet if you want to go cheap go get a used hpi
baja off ebay or get a KM baja a remove/sell the alloy and get
some better parts.

it does seem that every1 that has posted so far does not like km lol.ive done my research and i do see mix reviews but mostly it looks good 4 km so im defo goin 2 get 1.im not sure wether 2 get the 350ksrc001 and do it up or get the 2.0 which looks very nice but so is the price at 550 lol.ive looked everywhere 4 a review on the km002 tx but it seems no1 has this car if any1 has it here plz tell me what its like thanks.

I've got the ksrc 002 rev 2speed & love it after replacing the main chassis, front top plate & arms on all 4 corners. I still have to replace the engine plate & top tyranny plate but that's more because of a want than a need. I will say that the km aluminum is weak & I had already planned to replace the factory parts with aftermarket replacements anyways for greater durability.

mine is a t1000 29cc engine . i have replaced alot of parts, that werent broken just wanted to upgrade, put alloy parts on where i thot it needed it mainly upper areas, kept the arms plastic but have spare set of rpms for it. new radio 4pks, mine is still going strong, only issues was PS, it messed up on 2nd tank, fixed that by installing a PS with the collar on the wheel, keeps pawl from cocking that was causing the issue. IMO, or as far as my truck goes, its been fantastic and theres nothing wrong with KM's.

there is always gonna be the diehard hpi guys out there, and nothing wrong in that at all. but if strapped on cash, the KM is good choice, as money saved on it NOW, can go towards any upgrades LATER. each brand has its lemons, as you will read on all the threads on hpi and km's. and both have theyre super great ones, that are great. just get what u can afford, whether it be hpi or KM.

thanks for all your tips guys ive decided on getting the km 002tx 29cc for 410pounds im sure ill have a blast with it.

riz please enter your location in your user CP........it will help us to point

you in the right direction soon when you need spares to replace the

poor quality parts on your new ride:rolleyes:
