2,4 Ghz antenna in FG Monster?

Hi!

I`m about to install my newly bought 2,4 Ghz (Futaba 3PM MX) in my FG Monster. I have however two questions:

1) Can the antenna be inside the body or do it have to stick out as the FM40 antenna?

2) Do I need some part of the actual antenna to stick out of the antenna tube or can the whole antenna be inside the antenna tube?

Keep inside the tube mate and it will only stick through the body a little bit.

If your still using your Hummer shell it will not stick though, they are only 4 to 5 inches long. Keep inside tube.

I cut the antenna to fit only 1/2" out and capped it. I run with it in the body. Its great!

antenna doesn't stick out of my beetle body on the FG MT and ive never had an issue, had it about 200m away from me and it never glitched.

I cut the antenna tube approx 1 inch from the antenna and left it inside the Monster body. Seems to work great!
