2 different 3.0 - 2-speeds?

When I look at the 3.0 from Heat Hobby and the 3.0 from Dans store they have a few differences. Looks like the Heat Hobby 3.0 has chrome wheels with bead locks and muffler is not installed and it comes with the 30.5.

The 3.0 from Dans store has the 29.5, black wheels and muffler is installed. Is this common or 2 totally different KM Baja's? Im kinda confused. Anyone else realize this? I hope Dan can elaborate!
 
don't know bout heat hobbies one, but the 5T T1000 KM i got had everything installed, RTR outta the box. came with tuned pipe, and thats a usually firstthing upgrade anyways, it comes already installed. ties were knobby ones mine had all way round, tears the ground up like a chainsaw.

don't know if this helps out, but i prefered to get Dan's since it was all ready to go, no oh, ya have to install 2 speed and pipe. i think for the money, Dan is a better choice.
 
diffrent dealers order the cars to their liking, it's like cheese burgers. they just check the options they want on their product, then resell it.

Would Dan be able to order what I am wanting? I prefer to deal with someone who answers emails, if you know what I mean!

I already did, LOL! Just want to see if its something he can order. Heat sells the one I want but I am reading negatives from thier service! Took them a week to answer my emails! Not impressed!
 
I've heard the same and read loads of negatives about HeatHobbies. I emailed Dan though at everyone's recommendation also and he didn't get back to me either. Maybe I smell funny? Idk, either way I'm happy with how it all worked out.

I've heard awesome about Dan and not so about Heat, good luck finding what you want!
 
funny, i contact him via ebay thru ask seller question, and within a day or two or less he replies back.

he might be outta town, so you just have to wait a bit for him i guess, to answer back
