2 different plugs!!need some help

i just bought a spektrum dx3c but the plug from the receiver is different.


the one plug has a little lip on the side.this plug is from my killer bee and the other has not.this is from my receiver


The question is can i cut of the little lip off and still can use it

yes u can cut it off.

Yes you cut it off and use a file and smooth off the edge so it fit good in the receiver

yes I use a dremel to smooth mine off.
