So I did the cap vent mod, but I noticed at idle there is gas dripping out of the tube under the chassis.... also, the spacer that goes on the brake bar (see picture) keeps coming out within 5 seconds of driving and I lose brakes..

Suggestions?

On the vent mod did you vet the tank or the gas cap? If you did the cap gas should run out only when its full once it goes down pass the cap it should not run out any more. If you did the gas tank vent then the tube is too far down in the tank and thats why its running out.

Just cap mod. I routed it up pretty high before looping back down hope it's only because it was a full tank.

Should be on the other side of the arm.

Ditch the spring and use a piece of fuel line. It will make for better braking performance.

this is how i did it. it's how i did my atv's to help make them water/mudproof as i was a pretty hardcore mudder. as for the cap you can kinda see the o-ring i super glued to help seal the cap better. i removed the 2 cap pieces & then glued the o-ring (ring #215, metric). coiling helps stop intrusion as well. i used a plastic 1/4" fitting that was threaded on one side, barbed on the other for the vacuum line i used. i drilled a hole through the cap (my caps had a pin sized hole in the center for a vent). i removed the threaded part of the fitting w/dykes & super glued it to the cap. you can see the rest.

Brian, I had to do the 1 sided servo mod to clear my hyper charger.

That explains why your pushing the brakes and not pull'n.

You can still use a piece of tube instead of the spring.

Any suggestions on how to keep that spacer in the hole?

Yup, i use fuel line on the brake rod also. running on slick dry conditions, i use silcone fuel hose for nitro cars. really soft and flexy. helps my breaking- yea, adjust the epa till the breaks are almost to the point of locking up-- This idea is untried-- use a razor knife to cut 1 or more slits leingthwise along the harder tubing- soften up the breaking response. sayy- anyone ever use the abs on the fly=sky? not me---
