for you guys running off road with 2 speed ,have u gotten any problems like chewin up the gears or somethin like that??is there a cover for the FG 2speed??

If you put a cover on the box,the stones will get in but they have to get out!!!I have used them and they mash the spur/pinion. suss that one...In my opinion gear covers are more hassle.
J,got one here for £5

i have stadium truck..and i got alum gears on my 2 spd.so u guys think its not even worth it to put the cover??how can the stones get thru it?

if I had alloy gears I wouldnt worry about them, in fact ive got a plastic spur and have never run a cover. and my MT has been through 29 tanks so far.

where did you get your alloy 2 speed kit from?

i still didnt run my stadium on a offroad track..i would like to.. but im havin 2nd thoughts that i may mess up the gears ..who else run 2 speed offorad without cover?

I run an FG two speed without cover, anywhere in sand, rock, dirt, etc... however I have hardened steel gear.

The only problem is that the two speed pawl mechanism get stuck after a few tank.
