Got my 2 speed in the mail today(from Dan), so my friend and I decided to install after work. What a PAIN IN THE ASS!!! It took he and I almost 5 hrs to install because of mods that were needed. Im a beginner and he's a super knowledgable guy about the buggies and trucks. Either way it was almost 10 o clock when we finished up so we took it out and ran it up the street(in a modest downpour lol)and it seems to be fine. May have to adjust the shift point as it seems you really gotta be hauling ass to catch that second gear. Anybody else order a rig with single speed and installed the 2S on your own??? Either way I will try and get some video of it up sometime soon!! Until then ill post some vids of my friends T2 and rig(pre install).

yah it can be a pain to go swappin all those parts out from single to 2 speed. thats reason most who think they want it just get one with it already on, i think its actually cheaper to buy the parts to go back to single than all the stuff to a 2speed runs ya. oh and yah u prolly just need to adjust those 2 bolts in the 2nd gear clutch to release a lil sooner and grab, its a centrifical clutch similar to the main clutch on motor just made a lil differntly and set so you can set rpm range it grabs the gear in approx.

yeah i converted my km 3.0 from single to two speed, i thought it was pretty much straight forward very easy to do,
took me a couple hours done right, I also cut the body out nicely so i can see it working

Makes a big different performance wise
