Well after reading the list on what is included on the KM Baja 3.0 - 2-speed, I caught that the 2-speed is not installed. Geez do you have to read these list multiple times to catch some of this. So here is the big question, how hard is it to install the 2-speed? I know tire has to be removed of course, but after that how much is involved?

if the layshaft is the right one there for the 2 speed then jobs alot easier, if not, you gotta pull the tranny to put the right layshaft in for the 2 speed.

2 speed install isnt hard, if shaft is already there. bolt on the backplate, put on large gears, put on pinion gears, tighten up the bolts that hold them, and put on cover.

the first layshaft gear will have 2 pins that fit in shaft, turn shaft so pins are across, even them up, and on the first gear, line up the groove in the cam bearing, its a one way bearing, so just turn it so the entire groove lines up, that is what slips over thos pins when you slide on gear, thats the hardest part of install right there.
