2 speed tranny

Hi, Has anybody seen a review on the KM or Rovan 2 speed or has someone purchased one.Thanks.

Haven't seen a review. Have seen the item for sale. Wondering myself how well it works. Is it a copy of another?

They copied Baja Skunkworks and also the Big RC design. KM copied Big RC, and Rovan copied Big RC.

No point in me getting one,as soon as yopu are on the second speed its time tio brake.

Yeah i agree with voodoo. Unless you are doing drag racing, there is no point of getting the 2 speed tranny. I would rather invest the money into a nicer ported engine to get the most bang for your buck.

Aside from that,
What has been the general experience with people who installed the baja skunkworks 2 speed? Is it reliable? I noticed that ddm recently started selling "spare" parts for the skunkworks 2speed so im begining to wonder is people have had mechanical failures with the set up.

I think I saw that one. Does it show metal shavings on the gears and back plate ?I found it strange that they would use those pics to sell their product.
