well this is my 2000th post

i cant belive im still here and still loving this hobby and more importantly this site,,

in my time here ive gone from owning a stock/scratch built ebay bitza marder buying a bit here and there over a couple of years and now its a full alloy full oddified beetle running hpi wheels and its a great toy with loads of grunt its cost a bomb,,,,its on its 5th engine 3rd rebuild,,its now how i want it and being left as is[for now],,

then ive also just got the on road fg this hasnt cost a quarter of the bug and is also oddified and a great tool very fast very fun and loves to rev this car was worth every penny anybody thinking of getting a on road just get one they are so much fun once tyres are warmed up things start to happen and they just grip and go,the only down side is places to go without pissing people and pco's off due to noise

no mate im 2wd till i die im thinking of another marder/beetle just for the beach and sand running no alloy stock engine 23ccc zenoah which ive allready got from the on road,hpi sand paddles and same adapters as the bug,

4wd with sand paddles all round would be quick on the beach......
 
if i could get a stock 4wd marder and not alloy it up which with me is going to be hard you maybe on to something there i like it

Just buy the 4wd kit & add the parts you need to make it up. You will prob have most in your spares anyway or you can buy plastic off ebay for next to nothing.
 
spares what are they mate only spares ive got are rose joints lol the only thing that seems to go on the bug or have i just fiddlesticked myself up and given myself a curse gutted it took me over 2 years to get the bug reliable oh well
