2006 contrast neo £480 good price?

hey guys i've been offered a 2006 contrast neo for £480 do you guys in all your experience think this is a good deal? i've spoke to mike on here quite alot about it fantastic advice from him, thanks mike. just wondering how many of you touring car fans like me would buy it or would think ohh ya. i spoke to mark frm contrast also hes said its one of the first models so its been quite evolved since then but ok for a it of racing but maininly tearing around car parks. its full alloy n hyro brakes, digi servos, zenoah 23cc etc
 
to what ive read the latest contrast models are very nice & well made models, but as its the older version it will lack some, also spare parts might be an issue, if i was you, id look for a used FG tourer, parts easy to get & cheap & simple to maintain & for just under £500 you should get a very nice used one with a few hop ups to :)

It does seem a 'very fair price', but a very high specification for a 'parking lot basher' without any intention to race.
+1 on Daz on the look at FG, if this is an older spec chassis - not familiar with them, but if the new-version parts are not compatible, you could be left high and dry when you have 'that occasional off' as happens to us all!!

heey guys thanks for your replys, well i already have an fg comp chassis car ive completely upgraded it fully alloy apart from diff holders and engine mounts. just put a adjustable diff in it the full works, so think its just where i'm getting abit addicted to buying rc cars and because its got all the hydro brakes n all sorts i was like ooo so ya i dunno what to do really im very tempted. how many other people would buy that car if they could ah dunno what to do lol
 
the reason i looked and thought ohh is i keep seeing fgs on ebay that rnt full alloy with maybe front hydro brakes, going for over £500 sometimes even £600 or more so thats why i saw this and thought woah.i missed out on a contrast neox for £1100 last month and ex ian oddy one i beleive. doh mark at contrast said he knows of a few for sale but they maybe rolling chassis.
