.21 nitro engine probs help please

So I'm having issues with my motor, when I pull the pull start it pulls lose and don't move the piston, this is my first Rc so I don't know much, I've take it apart and nothing seems yo be broke, that I can tell off

Could be a one way bearing in the pull start. Does the piston move when turning the flywheel?

Definately sounds like the one way bearing is slipping. Try removing the motor, then the pull start. Use some coarse sand paper to rough up the shaft the bearing runs on. Reassemble & see how it goes.

If that doesn't work either buy a new bearing or get a starter box.

I prefer the starter box for my 1/8 nitro's. Sick & tired of pullstarts not working.

put on a roto start .. one of the best ways to start a nitro vehicle .. pull starts break and it usually takes a few pulls to start

i found roto start had the same issue with the 1 way bearing.

Starter box works great for me.

I had the same issue,it was said my motor had no compression so i upgraded to 3.3
