25:1 oil/gas

I've got a 1 gallon gas can...


how much 2 stroke oil do I need to add to the gas to reach the 25:1 ratio ??
 
Get one of those meausing cups. I don't like to guestimate 5.1oz's and those cups make it much easier. Some medicine cups that come with cough suppressent are good too.

Well, my trucks run a hell of a lot better with 25:1 correct ratio gas/oil... thats for sure...

I run 50:1 after breakin using AMS Dominator...

If your oil doesn't specify 50:1, then I wouldn't do that.

Personally, i think the few extra dollars for a full synthetic is worth it.
 
I need to get one of those cups, thanks for the link. Most of the oil i found local doesn't even have a clear line, or level on the side.....

Alot of people are running 25:1 and that was whats reccomended to me, my trucks run great using 25:1... Im happy with the performance and the tunes, my trucks both leave a nice trail of smoke behind them as well...
 
Would running 50-1 damage anything? Thats half the ratio they say to use, however i think most weedwackers are 40-1 or 50-1
 
I run 32:1 but if I did it over I would fall back to 25:1 for engine life

I am curious about 50:1 for convenience with my lawn equipment
