I thought I'd be a little subtle in my selection of photo - the one you'll generally find is of a mainly carbon-fibre black, with ORANGE highlights!!
Subtle it ain't.
Apparently it has over 1000 lb ft torque as well!!! :w00t::w00t::w00t:

It IS mate, but I guess your 'hobby car' didn't cost, well they won't say, ....
What did Jezza Clarkface say?
Each 'ordinary' Veyron cost VW 4x the Euro1m they charged, so we must assume it's quite a bit ... more? !!!
I thought one of the major original problems was heat dissipation, so upping the power 20% .... mmmhhh !!! :w00t::w00t:

there is a performance company whos name escapes me at the moment and they were taking Veyrons and getting more out of the for the hell of it.

this was on top gear tonight - 267mph was the speed :w00t:
cost..........£1.6m :w00t::w00t:

Yeh just seen that ! Utterly insane !!:w00t:

That speed run on the straight looked terrifying !!!!

I think I'm going to order one on monday !!!!!!!!!:lol::lol::lol:

Ian, you're not looking at it the correct way, in VW's books.
The 'basic Veyron' really costs £5m, but they only charge you £1m, so they pay you £4m to take it off them.
How much are they paying you for the SS? :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Fancy parting with £20,000 every 36 miles though for tyres. least i could get to work and back on them in a week.

I don't think it would take you a week to get to work & back in that Jacko :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Its madness tho - a new Golf GTi worth of tyres :w00t: Mind you I suppose its pro rata to the cost of the car ie fookin expensive :D
