anyboby got a mt or tt version 3 with this motor in it..what's the performance like,is it enough to get the job done..My tt v3 is on the way..I really want a zenoah 4 bolt G270rc or a cat 5 race ported GP290...price doesn't matter...Durabilty is my number 1 thing..Any thoughts on which motor is best for the buggy....

Hands down for reliability the 4 bolt Zenoah your size of choice but the 4 bolt is a better foundation.

The 26 that it comes with will be OK get some use out of it , but if you buy get a Zenoah

The HY is a copy of the CY, so it should go pretty good. If you have the funds for the Zenoah, then go for it. You will have to slot the chassis mountingholes, but it is very easy.

I have the 26cc, not very good, but you can always upgrade the head to a 29 or 30.5 for a few bucks like i did and den you will feel the power.

I want to be clear on this because my v3 is on the way. You upgraded your HY head with a CY headkit?
i don't know why they say hy engine, my is the v3 26cc with a fuelie chung yung engine (cy).

Yes i upgraded it with cy head kit.

The Chinese have a way of doing things. You should not be able to tell the difference between the CY and HY engines. All parts are interchangeable.

Yea, they only change names, my has chung yung printed in case.

Yep I got my v3 rampage yesterday. It has a walbro 668 and "cy" vin tag. CY is also imprinted on the flywheel and several spots on the case. I haven't checked the head yet.

All the parts will be CY parts. The only difference is who is assembling the parts.

For the trolls who say the HY is underpowered, figure that one out, dumbasses.
