Whats up guys, I just got my hands on a 29cc hpi cy motor all stock not in yet. What piston and crank does this have as i wanted to purchase a race ported head for it b4 I install?

its a 35mm bore. make sure you get the machined head becouse up have 2mm stroker. if its not machined you will have to stack the gaskets

You either got a 35mm bore with a 2mm stroker or a 36mm bore with a non stroked crank if you have a 29cc. Lunatik's site is down. He's got a nice chart in there. I found another chart though:


34mm bore


28mm (standard stroke) = 25.4cc


29mm (+1mm stroke) =26.3cc


30mm (+2mm stroke) =27.2cc


35mm bore


28mm (standard stroke) = 26.9cc


29mm (+1mm stroke) =27.9cc


30mm (+2mm stroke) =28.9cc


36mm bore


28mm (standard stroke) = 28.5cc


29mm (+1mm stroke) =29.5cc


30mm (+2mm stroke) =30.5cc


The piston bore size should be marked on the side of the head. You will need to pull the head and look at the crank to determine what stroke crank it is. Every +2mm stroked crank I've ever seen had a "2mm stroker" etching on it.
