3 bolt head

has anybody ever heard of a 3 bolt 23cc motor? i just ran into one and was curious what it was and if its any good. never heard of a 3 bolt head before.

Stay away! You will not find upgraded or new head kits from any aftermarket shop or store. It is a proprietary Duratrax/Smartech motor. Stay with a 2 or 4 bolt zen or cy.
Its a lot like the KM bottom end.

Exactly. This is what I ran into last summer when I bought a head kit. Found out I had a 3 bolt. It was a good running engine though.

this thing looks like an actual weed whacker topend. id be surprised if they could make enough power to get out of their own way. i ll get a couple pics soon.

all i can see molded in is 23cc. may be under the carb area, but im not going to bother to look. lol
