hi guys :)

i only use stick type transmitters (just cant get used to the trigger ones, im old skool!!)

anyway the one i have at the moment has done me proud for a good 5 years & will be gutted to see it go! ...but its FM & its time i went 2.4ghz.

Ive been looking around & its hard to find a 3chan stick type designed for surface use!

ive come across a couple but they aint big names & done some research on them & they don't sound too reliable which aint good when it comes to a 35lb truck its keeping control of!

anyway this is what ive seen so far:

Etronix Pulse EX3G PRO 3 Channel 2.4GHZ

Schumacher CORE RC CODE 2.4GHz

both are sub £100, but i was willing to spend upto around £150, but theres nowt in that price range as anything upwards of £100 seem to be for aviation not surface, incl. Spektrum.

Out the 2 above id prob go with the Etronix but im not sure :s ?

Any ideas guys? it has to be 3 channel as i want to fit a kill switch too soon & it also has to be stick type designed for Surface use.. ie: throttle curve/epa/steering/throttle trim etc.

ta! :)

You are kidding right? There is no such thing as a land-based 2.4Ghz radio. There is absolutely NO difference between 2.4Ghz stick radios other than the whistles and bells. You should be able to get a really good 4 channel (or even 6 channel) for not much money.

So forget about a 3 channel, they are as rare as dinosaur droppings and totally not worth buying!

PS Who knows, you might want to use the 4th channel for lights etc
