3 shoes ?

hi can anyone tell me the make of this 3 shoe clutch, it came off a solo, threaded crank cheers chopper

its a Adjustable Lauterbacher 3-shoe clutch.

When you said threaded ,did you mean the threads are on the outside of the crank?

hi yeah, it threads onto the solo crank rather than a taper and bolt job like the cy,s etc

That thing is different for sure. I had to do a double take on my Elcon to make see. Mine threads in, but it threads in the center part of the taper on the crankshaft.

hi these solo engine are a pain, i need 4 shoe holder for my 8 wheeler arrrgo and have 1 so far, so many solo engines for sale but no clutch shoe holders, people tell me to change the cranks to a taper one, but might aswell change the whole engine:no:
