I just ordered a 30.5 from oneil brothers to go with my jet pro pipe. Any body have a 30.5? Im a little concerned about the drive train holding up to the power. thougths???
 
I have an ESP modded 30.5. I've only run about a half tank trough it before the Redcat pipe broke in two. I've tried running it with a gutted muffler, but it runs like crap. I guess it will be sittng till I can get a good pipe.
 
I also run a ESP 30.5 in my redcat MT. the only issue i've had soo far is with the gears, but people are having problems with that on a stock engine. The other issue is finding the best gear ratio, I've tried 4 different ones and still are not happy (either topping out the enigne in 10 feet, or can't get the MT moving) I just need to get middle of the road gears. but am waiting till Rampage hopups ships to Canada so i can get the steel gears.
 
GL with that ONB 30.5 i know a few folks that has had a heck of a time with theirs.


the ESP 30.5 should run pretty good with a stock can exhaust, but you ll have to tune for it. my 27.2 with stock can is strong running and was still faster then the stock cy 26s with tuned pipes.

I can tune it to run pretty good on the top end, but bottom end is crap with the stock can. Bottom end is what I want for this buggy. I have a set of the MT gears that I'll give a try. Hopefully they will help the bottom end enough to hold me over till some good pipes are availible.
 
pipe can make a BIG differance on motor performance and where its good and not good.


which pipe do you currently have?
