bought a used 30.5cc of ebay. my question is that there is a copper gasket at the base of the cylinder do they come like that when new. my 23cc doesn't have this. does this mean it could have a +2mm crank in it.
 
that means that you most likely have a stroker crank, hence the 1 mm copper spacer gasket, along with the stock gasket should be in place,thats to compensate for the longer crank, not all 30.5 engines have this, the rovans i have built don't need the spacer,what brand of engine is it? it should say on the front where the clutch housing is just under the plastic engine/plug cover
 
i did see that it says kingmotor in that area. yes there is the copper spacer gasket along with the regular gasket. thanks steve m.
