Hello all. The 5th scale points series is a go and the 1st round will be here before you know it. There will be 3 classes. Sedan, GT and F1. All classes will be well represented as there has been alot of interest from racers along the east coast. Here's the schedule:
March 28................Test and tune
April 18...................1st point race
May 23....................2nd point race
June 20....................3rd point race
July 18.....................4th point race
August 15.................Warm up for the 2009 Nationals
August 26 through 30,..The 2009 1/5 Scale National (301's bid dates for Nationals)
September 19..............5th point race
October 17 or 23..........6th point race (TBA)
October to be arranged with the I-95 race as our season finale with awards presentation for the point series.
Six races with two throw outs......everyone completing four races will recieve awards and prizes.
The 1/7 scale DM/IGT cars will be run in the series if there are enough per event.
We would like this series to grow to rival that of the NATC on the west coast. The only way for that to happen is for you, the racers, to show up. We hear lots of complaints from on-road guys that there's nowhere to run, well, here you go. See you at the track.
