You basically get a broom handle - 20mm wide - made from metal and hollow
You need a wheel caster, easily available from ebay for a few quid.
The go pro comes with a mount for a pole, and works in upside down mode.
On the other end you use a load of washers hung with cable ties to counter balance.
Then Velcro the caster that is in the middle of the rod to the roof of the car.
Job done! look up on youtube home made swivel mount for how to do it!
£80 for the official one, so I'm well pleased!
