I never tried removing a shim... And I have 2 shims stock had one on each side on center diff spool. When it was like that now it is very tight. I put both shims on side so it pushes away from pinion. I guess I have to try that.

Yeah, you're going to have to play with it a bit to get it right. Trial and error.

Here's my mt with 35 25 fast but poochie off of the line. It ended my day when the pin slid out on the holder again even after a good cleaning and red locktight. I am gonna trim rod a tiny.bit and thread set screws in untill I.get square drive gearplate
