Can you guys tell me how do I calculate the final gear ratio with the 4 step spur gears of the XT, I have an idea but im not sure how accurate it is :D

Gears

I just took the time and counted the teeth on gears of the XB and this what I got 29-31-25-25=110

The A/B gears are one step in the reduction, then the c/d gears are another step. Even though they (the C/D gears)technically are 1:1 ratio because of the same tooth count. Then you have the center ring and crown gear which is either a 10/30 gear count or its 11/33. I can't remember exactly, all I know is its a 3:1 ratio. The front/rear diffs are 10/30 or 11/33 too, I just cant remember which is which. LOL

To summarize: Take your A/B ratio times your C/D ratio times Center ratio 3.0 times the F/R diff ratio 3.0.

An example is:

29/31x25/25x10/30x11/33= FDR ( final drive ratio )

29/31=.9354 25/25=1 10/30=3 11/33=3

.9354x1x3x3= 8.4186

Keep in mind my math could be wrong...I just woke up! LOL :D
