I have a brother looking to buy the FG monster 4wd conversion he doesn't have a truck he will be starting with the conversion and buying all the other parts peace by piece and building his truck from the ground up. What other parts are needed besides gas tank and motor does it come with the rear arms and all the knuckle's and full shocks because i don't see it in the picture.

You get exactly what it shows in the pic mate. Rear arms are the existing (if you have a donor car), you get new front arms and shock tower to accommodate the drive shafts and front diff, new large engine mount, new chassis, new servo saver, new radio tray, new tank mounts and the obvious drive train parts.

I have a build thread which may be of use.......

If he doesn't ha e the truck already he's better off going to Ddm n buying a 4wd it will be cheaper in the long run its 1300 rtr or if he wants to build it n have full alloy its closer to 2gs

fg 4wd steering problem

I just converted my monster truck to 4wd and the steering sucks on it take a football field to turn it in. the old one 2wd version steered good what could I do to fix it

Silly question, but have you got the geometry right?

If not that, check the servo saver. O-rings might be stuffed - I always blow mine and have to replace.
If it's adjustable, perhaps try tightening the servo saver up a bit.

How'd you get on, is it sorted yet? I've done the belt conversion on my FG MB, never had an ounce of problem with it. Can u take a few pics of the steerings arms, servo head etc and post them up. We might be able to spot something for you..:o
