Hello everyone! I just got my XB a couple of days ago and I am absolutely loving it! :D Right now, i'm just being patient and going through the break-in process given in the manual. I did run across a small problem today though.

Today the 4 wheel drive has stopped working. Only the rear wheels turn when I accelerate, not all 4. To me, it seems as if something is just not catching with the front wheels. (Excuse my non-mechanical terms:). It's probably something very simple that i'm overlooking. Since i'm a newbie, I thought I would turn to you guys for a little help. Where should I begin to look for the problem? Thanks!

Check the set screws on the center drive cup and the one on the front diff.if they are loose loctite them, make sure you line up the flat spot on the shaft with the hole before you re-tighten them.

yep, guys r right. just chek all diff cup to make sure and threadlock as neccessary. if that doesn't solve it check the dogbones pins thne the wheels to make sure they are not rounded. wish you luck.

+1 to zapped I had this on both of my NEW XT and MT the first ten min of break-in !!! and after i fixed the Center cups The pins in the dogbones at the wheel end where all loose and one fell out. So be sure to check all of them good. Also Rob a RampageHopups told me to get GREEN LOCTITE for these. He said its thinner and gets in the cracks better.

IMO! Best thing u could do when u get your new Rampage is to Check over every fastener on it !! Locktite and tighten every screw and nut!!! Before u start losing them and having to replace them! :) + it gave me piece of mind on my MT Then i still lost a Pin. LOL !! Hope This Helps !!

Thanks. You guys were right. The grub screw on the center drive cup is missing. It must have fell out. I totally missed those screws during my initial setup. I'm gonna have to order some now. I'm gonna go through this buggy again and check for any other screws I may have missed. Thanks everyone!

No problem Kebema,You should be able to get those grub screws from a hardware store, they are metric. Just take the cup with you to make sure you get the correct size.

you need to be careful with the 629 ( green loctite ) it will wick into the cvd joints and lock up the cvd's
