4wd fg gears

Ive got a 4wd marder and in 4 -5 tanks of fuel i have stripped the plastic 46 tooth spur gear twice.

I have chrcked the meshing alignment of the gears and they were perfect,

I was given a metal gear from a member on here but the tooth alignment is wrong

Where can i get an 18t and a 46t gear matching from?

Also just to complicate things, when i looked on ebay they have gears but where the flats are on the layshaft itself are opposite but my marder has 2 next to eachother

Ie isually north and south have flats but mine would be north and east

mine does it aswell u need steel gearing i tryed alloy 48t to 18t steel and that strips aswell so will be getting steel very soon :)

I would check the bearings in the large engine mount and the gear carrier due to misalignment. If the large engine mount is not quite set right it will make the layshaft run on the piss and even a slight amount will be transfered into a tight spot on your gears but with the plastic gear being there it will wear away very quickly.
