[Baja'n since 12/25/10]

Was out running the Baja today and after running full throttle then hitting the brakes it would bog and sometimes would just completely stall. I reset the needles to factory setting but did not help I drove it the day before without any issues. I noticed that it did blowout the exhaust gasket though would this cause the problem I'm having? Or does anyone have any ideas what it could be thanks.

Turn your idle screw in just a little bit. Thats the big screw that adjusts the butterfly. You throttle is probably pulling the throttle closed too far...
Let us know if it works. The exhaust gasket is a bit a pain when they go bad but I would recommend getting a new one to keep the buggy clean. Very cheap and there is a copper one on the weekly deal page at DDM for 1/2 price. http://www.davesmotors.com/s.nl/c.885035/n.1/it.A/id.1698/.f

No its not the idle screw already tried that and with the car off I watched it when I put the brakes on it doesn't move the throttle at all

first checkfor an air leak in teh fuel line, primer bulb, intake manifold gaskets, also check for dirt around the tiny vent hole in the carb (diaprham vent hole) and tightness of intake manifold bolts. you may also want to check for cracks in the intake manifold (if you are still using teh stock plastic one)
