5IVE-B electric conversion - servo mount

1. servo mount :
I have designed a new servo mount.
The previous mount was positioned vertically, but I laid it down for increased stability.
This new structure should withstand the servo's force adequately.
The process wasn't easy, given the limited space, the position of the mounting holes, and the need to avoid interference.

The steering shaft and the servo shaft are aligned horizontally, and the steering arm and the servo's dual horn are also aligned horizontally.
This setup will withstand the servo's force well and provide stability.

+The length of the steering end-rod requires custom work. I just wanted to assemble it quickly.





2) fonder mount :
This is not the usual type of fonder you might be familiar with.
It was developed by a U.S. user and offers excellent price competitiveness, which is why our club has decided to adopt it.
It is positioned on a transparent window to enhance infrared transmittance.
I will test it in the field and post our results.

I agree.
I'm even more excited because I haven't had the chance to fully test this servo through extensive driving yet.
However, I'm not sure what kind of negative impact the servo's power might have
I plan to use it on my 5IVE-T as well, and the tires are MX43.
They’re quite heavy, so I’m curious to see what kind of performance it will deliver.

Trust me it will laugh at what ever is being thrown at it. 2600 + oz of power. Currently I am running them on my race rigs.

The first vehicle has a harmonious green color scheme, reminiscent of the Hulk.
The carbon material stands out. Did you make it yourself? The dog next to it is very cute.
I see you've also used servos(rs-2500) in the second vehicle!
You seem to be a big fan of these servos.
Are you currently working on the third vehicle?
It seems much simpler compared to the setup of the first vehicle. Is it for weight reduction?
Your vehicles are intriguing.

Just showing you I don't baby my rigs. I use them in my mini-t, fg f1, losi 5ive t 2.0, losi 5iveb and converted to electric losi 5ive. I trust them better than any servo I have currently used. But like all things I know unless they are sitting in the box they came in on the shelf, they may not last forever.

I was searching for the most reliable parts because I bent everything that was aluminum on my rigs. So far I will never go back to anything aluminum for a chassis or shock towers. I am using MGS carbon fiber chassis on my truck and buggy soon to be 2wd losi and electric rig. And boneheads 9mm carbon fiber shock towers

I was delighted to see the stunning cars, which were a feast for the eyes.
The structure and materials used were inspiring.
I personally avoided carbon materials because I thought they were too brittle.
What is your experience with them? Do you think they are strong enough?
And I will be looking forward to the car you will complete in the future.
