Trying to get things together to build. Would you guys recommend a screw kit? It would be alot easier to build from the start then replace later. If so which one? And from where? Thank you for any help. If the stock hardware is good enough then just say so. All I have found so far is r/c screws for around $60.

+1 to Tony's screws. I have yet to have one fail me. And I build alot of Baja's

thanks guys I will keep looking for screw kit. I have not seen a complete kit for 5sc ss yet tho, other than rc screws. I have used tonys screws with my 8th scales all the time but could not find kit for the 5sc ss. I am not sure what would be different from a 5b or 5t screw kit.

Its gonna be exactly like the 5t with exception to rear bumper.

This is the first kit I have built, and on my other cars I have always torn them down to install upgraded screw kits (from Tony). I figured with this vehicle because I will build from scratch might as well start with a screw kit from the get go. Why take a chance with the stockers, like someone posted I already own them. That means they will make perfect spares and wont cost me any money.
I emailed Tony from Tonys screws and he is putting something together now.
