Yes. My 30DN bell housing is the same. Measures out identical to the Losi but with no actual front venting just like the one in the pic , just cooling fins. And has the clearance notch on the side to nest with the rear diff brace.
What motor came with yours?

This is the motor i took out of the 30dn as soon as i got it out of the box. There a chunk of the clutch carrier missing. They must of did that for clearance. I just never seen that before.View attachment 111383
With the taylor/vertigo and mod center diff you can see i have no more adjustment on a 18t pinion. The clutch carrier and diff holder are right on each other.

It looks like Vertigo took care of the side clearance to the diff mount with the clutch bell housing...

Just got 62 losi spur from horizon....104 bucks delivered....sorry l bought 2 sets of the 5 fonzie engine mounts from Detroit.....maybe some thin shims between chassis and bottom of engine?????l am running 21/62 on my 2.0 and it's fast with no bottom and issues.

A good look at the distance between the brake rotor and clutch bell with a 19T/58T meshed. Picture without motor, just the bell housing front mount.
(losi brake rotors installed now and are the same dia as the 30dn rotors)
I have confirmed that two of my motors, the zenoah 320 and the Rovan 36 will not sit on the chassis without rocking back and forth while sitting on the chassis mounting hole locations. The fan cover is not rubbing and clears the milled out area in the chassis. When I tighten the motor down, it will always rock/lean over towards the diff mount area causing the mesh to get tighter and is what probably caused the rotor/bell to grind. My chassis definitely has a slight warp or twist through this area (and it's brand new). I will just shim the right rear motor mount hole as suggested by Mick Mars and Flh033 and go for it at this point... Fun stuff!

Great I have spare parts.

Any extra pull starters. LOL

If your chassis didn't have a bend in it, would the engines still rock back and forth while sitting on the mounting hole locations? My Taylor 32 did that. I just tightened it down anyway. 😝 I couldn't figure out why it was rocking like that, I was wondering if you knew. My chassis is not bent. In my case, it wasn't enough of an issue to cause the gear mesh to change, so I didn't worry about it too much. It was pretty slight, but still, I couldn't figure out what was causing it.

Was hoping to point you in right direction....lots of slight tolerance issues with aftermarket upgrades etc. I'm always reaming holes, shiming, wiggle and jiggle stuff to get good fits. All just part of the good stuff!!!!!

I made a jig on a smooth flat surface that allows the fan cover to drop beneath and it sits flat on all 4 mounting corners.
I'm just going to move past this and proceed with a small shim washer.

30DN Truck is ready to roll again. I was able to get the mesh dialed with the 19/58. Put the 20 back in so I can do some comparisons between the
Zenoah 320 with the Fujiwara Big bore kit in the 30dn vs the Rovan build with the Taylor 35 reed case. Both trucks running 20/58.IMG_6867.webpIMG_6869.webpIMG_6871.webp

Awesome trucks dude, glad you got em finished. Maybe share some feedback on the zenhoa with the big bore kit ,have been thinking about it for 5t 2.0, thank you!!!!! Been spying on some Vitavon parts and see they make 62 spur if anyone can't find a losi part, about 100 bucks, basically same price as losi spur.

Thanks! I grabbed a 56 from Vitavon about 2mo ago $100 from China. Might grab the 62. Very nice quality but I doubt I can use it on the 2.0 unless I go up to a 23-25t possibly.
They do make some nice parts!
I'll post side by side comparisons next weekend when I can get back out.

That should help you with any clearance issues and give you some more gearing options. Did you order some pinions to go with it? Are you using the Fonzie engine mount washers?

Yes, the Fonzie washers are installed and work great! I have, 19, 20, and 21 losi type pinions.
