5t tires on buggy

hi, bought 4 front 5t proline trenchers with split six wheels for my redcat xsc I am building,,, put on my km,, raises car up nicely,,, but any traction issues by not running a 5t rear tire,,,,, front and rear seem same width about 18 inches outside of tires,,, and no fitting issues,,, using 5sc rear hubs,,

You will need to change the idle gear in the box ,

Why?should you have to replace the idler gear just wondering?

I thought the 5b and 5t shared the same gearbox internals and the only difference between the truck and buggy was tires, and the additional parts to support the body... the proline kit which added the desert rat body and bigger tires looked to be basically 5t tires ,, and no changes were needed mechanically,,

Oops,my bad.The 5T DRIVE gear should be installed,that's a 20 tooth and the 5B is a 19 tooth.
