Wonder if you Can help
Just finished my rebuild,thought I would fire her up
No go at all,it has a rotor start and just turns over and over
We have fuel and a spark but nothing,any ideas

Have you got the lines on the right way?
Change the plug,just because you have a spark it might be blown out under compression.
Air leaks?
There is a thread on here in the engine thread that gives you in depth details on a non goer.

Put lines on the way they were originally on .never thought they may be wrong .the engine had never run when I bought it so maybe I have bought a dud
Line with the filter to the bottom of the carb and return line from the top at least that is how it was ??

Try the carb settings and coil gap...

park it next to a wall, lean off the LS, pour a drop of fuel on the plug and try to start, adjust ls as reuqired when idling.

Had it all apart looks like the rotor start just crap
Switched pull start from another car and all good

roto starts are kinda didgy for largescale, they're ok for nitro engines but with 2-strokes.. needs alot more torque etc. Defo stick wit pullstart dude
