My buddy has a 5t and gave it to me to work on, i have done nothing to the truck just got it, but he sayes it will not start, so i just do the nornal full choke one pull it pops ok no choke and pull nothing and after about three pulls on no choke i can see gas coming out the pipe, extreme flooded and only after 6 pulls, before i tear it down what are some key thing i need to look for to cause it to flood that quick, also the truck has been sitting for a week before i even tried to fire and i never even touched the prime bulb
 
How far is the low speed needle turned out? If it's over 1 1/2 turns you are really rich. Try resetting the needles to 1 1/4 on L and 1 1/2 on H.
 
There at factory spec just like you sayed, i made sure of that before i tryed to start
 
yes. if it was really bad. it would just let fuel blow straight thru. how is the compression? i would start with the basics. pull the plug and flip it upside down to get any excess oil/ fuel of the bottom of the case. ya might wana pull the cylinder off and check the ring/piston and flush it out with something. check for air leaks and see what color the plug is from the last run. if its whit or light grey then it could have a lean issue. make sure the coil is gapped properly and you have a good blue spark. might even chang out the plug. check all the fuel lines and tank clunk, put "your" gas in it and see what happens.
 
Get a parts breakdown of the carb and rebuild it. I think he got the diagphram and gaskets in the wrong way. Causing the needle to stay open and constantly pour fuel with every rotationof the motor.
 
Ok i teared it down and all the bearings are shot, the crank has a lot of play in it, the rod bearing are rusted and the head is scorded, so we are just going to buy the cy29cc engine from DDM for 179.99 because it would cost about 120 the rebuild the stock engine
