hello everybody im getting ready to buy a engine for my mt and this is the one im looking at just want to see what all you guys think about my choice thank you:)
 
Thats a great motor! You can't go wrong with OBR. I run a 7.5hp 27.2 FMLR in my XB. I can't say enough.
 
what a motor! I go to OBR-s site and watch this engine installed in a 5-b running full tap in the Glamas dunes, CA. - 2 part vid, 1st part uses a Rammstien song?, secomd vid has the sound of the engine. Never saw a 5-b jump so far that the right front assembly flies off before!
 
The OBR FMLR is a sick engine but the Reed Case is whole different animal. And I mean that in a good way ;) I've seen some vids and some members on the Baja forum have this engine and it sounds and looks like a beast.
 
I've got one of the 30.5 reeds in my tt and it is awesome,have used it with both the rear and side jet pro pipes and it screams.

Got a lauterbacher clutch to put on just need to get it modded to fit the tr/obr clutch housing but even with a 6k clutch spring in it still pulled 31/29 gearing very easily but think with clutch set at about 8-9k it will be a bit of an animal :D

Thanks,I should really start a thread on here as advice on ramps is a bit scarce over there.

I've looked for a thread on yours but can't find any,you have a ts in yours?
 
Yeah I've got a Ts Reed in mine. I've been away from home since january so all my large scales are collecting dust at the moment. I get home soon can't wait to get em going. Thinking about running methanol in the Ts.
