A buddy of mine is looking at getting into large scale and came across this.

Anybody ever deal with these guys from China? I told him to be cautious. The price listed is less than half for what I paid for mine. So I'm sure you can conclude to my suspicion. Or have 5ive T's been marked down that much?

Would anyone get one of these?
 
I wouldn't either...just remember,you get what you pay for!!!the 5t is high priced for a reason,because it's the BEST!!!!!stay away from cheap copy's
 
That's what I told him. It looks too good to be true. and it doesn't look to be a copy. I think its a scam to be honest.
 
You can get a used one for that price, and even that seems pretty low if you see what folks are asking and selling for on Ebay. I wouldn't touch it. Just save up a little longer. Makes getting the real deal that much sweeter!
 
The package weight is listed as 13 lb. Oddly enough, that is what my 5ive T box weighs, all by itself! I suspect for $776, you receive an empty box!
 
Look real close at the pic. Right on the truck but mostly in the white area you can make out: No: T the rest blends into the white area of the pic.

I would guess the rest that you cannot make out is the... ruck the rest of the word truck, i believe Revolancher is right.
 
I contact Losi yesterday about this and i guess they took action just thought i would check aliexpress and now if you check a big disclaimer on the page

This product is no longer available. Lol :)
 
HEY BUY IT IT IS A GREAT DEAL!
Just change the stickers so that no one knows that you bought a clone.

Oh it has the same sticker other than the sticker price! you would be a fool not to buy this. Then get the scz 290 motor and you will have a real hot rod!

When this was first posted as we all saw shipping was only $107.00 now its 369 or something, but like i said this paticular add is no longer available Losi sent me an email and said they contacted aliexpress and they assured them they would check on it and remove it if they could not verify it. They cant continuously keep chasing these things around and said it is a buyer beware market. The old saying goues if it sounds to good to be true.....It probably is !!!! The said thing is how many poor guys fell for it before it was to late. Well enough for me on this subject time to move on to bigger and better lol:lol::lol::lol:
