Just sold this supercharger the other day.
It came off of a 1973 Inline 6 or I6 Detroit Diesel 2 stroke motor.
I bought the motor only to tinker on and occasionally start.
If you have ever heard a two stroke screamin Jimmy you know it is an amazing sound.
Used to run the motor every weekend until she ran away on me.
A runaway engine is when the oil from the crankcase seeps past the piston rings and oil becomes the fuel for the combustion chamber.
Pretty scarry stuff if you are not expecting that to ever happen.
Luckily I had always kept a piece of plate steal handy just in case.
Just toss the plate steal over the intake and choke out the motor.
Still scary as heck to have happen.
Will for sure make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.
