So my mate couldn't wait for the rest of the 7075 gear to be made and brought both front and rear diff housing, the only issue is he didn't like the angle of the front dog bone, he has had issue with the front dog bone poping out before so we came up with this.....really works well. Hey Doug could you build this into the new XBE chassis or some thing similar just to level out the angle of the dog bone?

Ya, easy enough but, I don't see the need for it. My Diff housing is the same size as the stock one. Is he running an XBE with the stock motor mount or my mount?

Yes he is running with your engine mount, the difference is between the diff housing is the about 3mm lip around the base of the stock housing,(front & back)I'll try and get a picture of them side by side, I don't know if there has been a change in stock diff housing but it definately was different. :confused: :confused:
 
Its different, the mount is slightly higher than the stock housing, it does give the dog bone a slight angle. Its no big deal considering the losi chassis. You can fix it if you adjust the cups just right, at least to get the dog bone to stay in. I don't jump very much though. If we are going to use longer dog bones on the new xbe chassis that would fix it I would think. Adding a little bit of raised edge to the area under the diffs sounds good though. We lose a tiny bit of ground clearance but lower the center of gravity a tiny bit.
