Has any body use there diff and do they fit the DR. I keep busting my front diff on my buggy that share a lot of the same part as the DR. So I am looking to upgrade my diffs so this will stop. If anyone has any insight on this and is willing to share that would be great. Thanks.

The diff housings from the x series wouldn't fit on the Dr as its a different platform..what keeps breaking the diff or the case or is it the outdrive cups?

Its the diff case. Its me crashing in to things. Bold tires, wet roads and curbs don't go good together.

This is the second diff I busted. Is there a upgrade diff for the DR?

I bet it dose. But what broke the diff this time was a impact to the tire its self. I am surprised that the wheel held together.

If you are smacking things that hard, I doubt any mod would help. I've had my DR end over end many times, corkscrew landing on one front wheel off some tall jumps, and haven't had a problem with a diff or the suspension. These things are tough, but not bullet proof. And, a DR is 27# dry, without fuel. Damm heavy.

Got somewhere else to run, it would be less expensive.

This last time I was in the street while it was slightly raining. So it was really slick out with bold tires. I normally go out to a large field to bash or a local free track.

But I found some diff case on the himotoracing site for $105 plus shipping. I sent them a email see if they would fit on there raptor 5xb which is the dunerunner.
