Installing the hitec 805bb and the stock servo horn does not fit the thread on the new servo. Can I use the larger horn which came with the 805bb? It fits the thread but is noticeably longer.
 
You can use one of the white servo horns that came with your Hitec. I used the arm servo horn and it has worked perfectly fine for almost 3 years. You do have to drill out the appropriate hole to be able to screw on the servo ball but it is an easy job. the stock ones don't fit (thanks for the clarification RCDAD) Please search before posting in the future, because I am sure this has been covered before. You will use the horn that comes with the servo. The factory horns don't fit the Hitecs.
 
You can use the blue aluminum one if you cut off one of the horns cause its double sided and enlarge the hole, thats what I did
