8mm bullets

So I've bought a few 8mm bullets for my xbe. For the motor and the parallel cable. Solid stuff, however, taking them apart is so hard. I tried gentle pulling but I almost ruined the battery because it suddenly comes loose...


So I guess the question is: it's this normal, can I somehow change this? how do you handle them?

Could try some dielectric grease.
