8S on Super Baja Rey

Has anyone out there ever actually run 8S on their Super Baja Rey? The ESC says that it will handle it but will the truck structurally handle it. I run the heck out of it on 6S and have never had anything bad happen. The new Super Rock Rey has the same 160A ESC, right? It handles it. If you have put the SBR on 8S let me know how it went! Thanks!
