1/4" x 72" round stock steel......... $5.75


3/4' x 36" flat stock steel............ $3.25


old can of grey primer in garage.... $free


= $9.00


Got bored today and figured I would see what $9.00 and 2 hours of time could do.

Pretty slick for the $9 investment. Would take me about 200 weeks to figure out the layout,not to mention the welding. Good show.

Itook about two hours start to primer, didn't really have any plans or what not so I think winging it saved some time, (c-clamp's and a 2x4's make decent pipe benders btw) . I was waiting around "helping" a buddy with boat motor he really didn't need help with so this happened instead.
 
Very nice!...have any bigger pics u can post? Like to know how you attached to the shock towers...did you tap the steel to screw in through the stock hole next to the motor? Did you Silver solder it or weld it?
