990 carb problems

i just installed the 990 carb on my mt and it will not idle at all and when running it sounds like it runnin out of gas all the time doesn't matter what i do i cant figure it out..... please help

Did you set the needles to factory pre-setting? Lsn-1 1/4 turn out and hsn 1 1/2 turn out? Also make sure your manifold was reinstalled correctly.

Also:

-Fuel lines in order. Suction goes to bottom of the carb, return out from the top.

-Pulse ports not blocked (tiny hole on intake side of carb, both sides of intake and the head also).

-Tank vent not plugged.

i will double check everything to b sure but im positive its all right... thank you

Also check for an air leak. If the bolts are too long it can push the intake away from the head.
