Congrats, but are you sure it's even necessary now.
I had a Rally with a flurescent red Tommy Makk body - with lights - and a 9x4 motor - ballistic but flawed - cleaning the commutator every couple of hours' use!!
I remember taking it to a Supermarket car park 10 years ago and it was airborne more than it was touching the ground!!

These days with the high power BL systems I'm not sure it's necessary.

Just got an email from American,there is a fella selling a new one in the packet on a forum
 
but is it in a glass display case and handled with white cotton gloves and stinks of auto glym,,nice find though voo be a shame not to get it out and try it out though
 
I used to have one and it ran well..yep you could tell when 2nd engaged
also adapted one and had it in a nitro ...wayhey it was quick..

Kind of wish I still had all my old cars and stuff...

all I have left now is a few old motors and chargers and a case full of nicads...lol

I sold off 2 old hpi pro 2's to fund upgrades on my fg about this time last year..lol

I will be running it to check it works but then going away Barry.

I have a load of vintage stuff Wegz,just cant resist them.

Too true mate.I used to use a XXCR on indoor carpet when the B3 was out and it used to whip everyones ass !
