I bought this at K-Mart in the 70s. $79.95. Its a Remington senca green Apachie 77, clip fed. Renington was sold to Du-Pont for a few years, these Nylon series were made out of Zirtel. The Apachie green 77 had the lowest run of the bunch. Its cycled about 400 rounds. Seems to favor CCI Velocitors. 20" hammer forged barrel. VERY light weight. This puppy was used to set a world record- 2" square wood blocks were tossed in the air- over 100,000. If memory is correct, about 10 were missed. After Remington bought the rights to these back from Du-Pont, they made quite a few more assorted nylons- then sold the tooling to Brazil. Its too flexy for a scope, but it shure likes this Holographic red dot!! Its all about weight- objects in motion tend to stay in motion. - just think if it would have came with a Ti barrel with a German liner! Shoulders better than any long gun I have- a modded 10-22? not even a close second.- musta grew into it! A gun way before its time- just look at the Glocks for example--- Never under estamate the little .22 - It can become a potato gun real quick - if ya get my drift! never do this with any thing bigger than a .22lr. Have a good one--things to do.
