This was on a u.k. news site. Happenend in the gulf of Califorina- i.e. baja. Flipper became seperated from the main pod, There was a big pod of Orcas that spent upwards of 2 hours tossing flipper into the air with there tails- eventually the Orca in the photo had enough fun- figured it was dinner time--A adult Orca is as big as 2 mini vans- heck a adult dolphin is big also. RIP Flipper------

Those are some great pics. Kinda sad to see as we all love the dolphins. I've seen similar video of the Orcas doing the same to Great White Sharks. The Orca is not to be taken lightly. :D

When they do it with the sharks the kill them, just because they can. They then just let the dead shark sink to be eaten by the bottom feeders. The Orcas don't like the taste of shark. Not sure if they consume the dolphins.

I also saw that the orca killed the.the great white shark and ate his heart.

I looked at 2 videos quite a while ago. On one, a Orca jumped outta the water in the Puget sound in Washington, did a bellly flop on the end of a touring kayak- single seater.- The force of the water going down with the orca sucked the kayaker -still locked in his craft deep under water. About 3-4 seconds later he popped back to the surface- still had the paddle in his hands. Another time , there was a movie od one of these guys jumping outta the water and landing on a small- bout 20-30 fooi sail boat- broke the mast off and no doubt snapped quite a few rivets that join the deck and hull--

Go to you tube, type in Mermaid. 99.9% of this is faux-fake. but, look at the photos of fish sailors-fishermen have caught with knives stuck in them. This has been observed for hundreds of years. gotta wonder--
